On Need

Necessity is an honest teacher. It doesn't ask what you feel like learning.

It started with a need. Not a dream, not a gift — a gap that had to close. And necessity is an honest teacher: it doesn't ask what you feel like learning, it tells you what the problem needs next, and it grades you in real time.

So I learned everything the gap demanded. Development, systems, design, the business underneath. No permission slip. The gap was the syllabus.

The need passed. The hunger didn't. Survival turned into standards — and standards are the only thing that outlive the reason you started. That's the whole story. The rest is just what I've built since.
